Who we are

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a nonprofit, academic, pediatric medical center. Here, we provide the highest quality healthcare for children, treating the little things, the big things and everything in between. Each year, we provide care for more than 93,000 children who need care that is so complex, it can only be provided by our medical experts. This is why we recruit the brightest and most dedicated professionals to meet the highly specialized medical and surgical needs of our patients and the care of their families.

Our hospital has been named to the prestigious National "Honor Roll" by U.S. News & World Report rankings as the only pediatric medical center on the West Coast ranked in all 10 pediatric specialties every year. We are a premier teaching hospital and have been affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932, and as a research hospital, we are improving the delivery of care to children every day. As an employer of choice for pediatric medical professionals in the Los Angeles area, we offer a comprehensive benefit plan for employees and special benefits for nurses. If you are ready to join one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals, consider a job with our hospital today.

Who we SERVE

The majority of our patients come from Los Angeles County. However, because of our reputation, we receive patients who are referred from the seven counties surrounding Los Angeles, from across California, and around the world.

About your career

Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides the full spectrum of surgical care—from routine procedures to complex surgeries—in two modern, leading-edge surgical centers. Many surgery centers are not able to provide care for children who need complex operations. These types of cases are routinely treated at Children's Hospital.

Our surgeons have access to all of the specialists who may be needed for a child's recovery. Post-surgery care is coordinated by a multispecialty team of pediatric experts, and children can be smoothly transferred from the operating room to an inpatient setting.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center is a modern, fully-equipped facility, featuring three state-of-the-art operating rooms and one procedure room. This Center provides all of the convenience of a state-of-the-art outpatient procedure center, yet provides families with access to the full array of pediatric services available at our hospital's main campus. The Center is staffed by Anesthesiologists and Registered Nurse Anesthetists who are specially trained in treating children.

If you are ready to join one of the nation’s leaders in children’s health care, consider a job with our Ambulatory Clinic. Learn more about the many exciting Ambulatory Clinic job opportunities with our hospital today.
