COVID-19 Vaccine/Testing Mandate

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ top priority is the health and safety of patients, families and team members. In compliance with a state of California order, the hospital is requiring all team members show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or regular COVID-19 surveillance testing.
By September 30th, all team members, excluding those with approved religious or qualifying medical exemptions, must be fully vaccinated before entering the hospital premises to work. Individuals with religious or medical exemptions will continue to be required to participate in regular COVID-19 surveillance testing. CHLA is working to support team member vaccinations before the deadline and we thank them for their collaboration as we do everything in our power to ensure CHLA remains a safe healing environment.
