The Financial Analyst III – Center for Personalized Medicine (CPM) is responsible for all financial and budgetary administration and fiscal analysis of the multiple funding sources of the CPM as they relate to operational assessment and strategic changes.

The qualified candidate will oversee funds in all areas relating to the CPM including extramural research projects, intramural endowments, hospital operations, core services, and the physician practice plan (CHLAMG). They will timely and accurately prepare financial information, including monthly Financial Statements, for all CPM accounts and will assume responsibility for new account/project set-up, expense reconciliations, cost transfers, and invoicing in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and CHLA policies. They will also work closely with the Pathology Business Development and Project Manager (operations), both Pre- and Post-Award Financial services (intra/extramural projects), and CHLAMG representatives as necessary to ensure accurate and comprehensive oversight of all CPM related finances.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Five (5) years of Finance/ Accounting required. Exp in a heath care/accademic setting preferred. Skills: Excellent computer skills, proficient with the Microsoft office, Strong Excel skills required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatory. Comfortable communicating with Senior Executives and business leaders. Ability to work in a team environment. Takes initiative and able to collaborate in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with multiple priorities Requires excellent problem solving and deductive reasoning skills. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills. Strong customer service orientation
