Responsibilities

Work that Matters

The Registered Nurse Lead provides clinical and administrative supervision for a designated shift. Provides front-line supervision to staff on designated shift. Works with Managers to improve quality of care and customer/staff satisfaction. Functions as the primary Charge Nurse and develops systems to ensure efficient work-flow and collaborative relationships with MDs. 

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

5+ years of NICU experience and a minimum of 1 year in Charge Nurse Role.

Expert clinical knowledge of unit’s patient population. Ability to lead others. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

BSN required 

California RN License; Current CPR Card, PALS and NRP

National Certification Required.
