Position Summary: The Ambulatory Clinic Representative is under moderate supervision, performs clerical tasks associated with scheduling and verifying patient appointments, registration and check-out procedures, maintaining the patient filing systems and monthly data. Performs cashiering duties. Coordinates ancillary services, consultations, and referrals ordered for patients. Answers and screens incoming calls, takes and relays messages to clinicians.
Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year experience in medical front office setting.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred. Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with the public; Good customer service skills. Effective written and communication skills. Typing skills, basic filing and organizational skills. Ability to work independently at times.
You must be willing to reside in the state of California, and have a primary work site in the state of California, to be considered for this position.
