CHLA PICU Nurse Discusses Grief at TEDx Pasadena

If you ask most nurses, they’ll tell you they went into the field because they wanted to make a positive impact and do something meaningful and helpful for others. But many don’t realize that sometimes the highs aren’t always enough to cope with the heartache of working with sick children.

Learn about how Hui-Wen transformed her grief and chose to use it to create greater empathy and compassion for patients and families that ultimately empowered her as a nurse.
